Springing Ahead!

Spring is here! Spring 2012 that is... I had forgotten that I had a blog and couldn't even remember the last post. The girls (it is so much fun saying that, keep us busy and giggling everyday. Even when we are having the most stressed out moments in our lives, a cackle from Quinnie or a hug from sweet Adelyn can just brighten your day! These girls love each other so much and we have so much to look forward to this spring! Quinn is 10 months old, crawling and almost walking. Singing and Signing and loves every moment of life! Adelyn is in the Elementary program at her school and is looking forward to her dance recital this June. Easter is around the corner and the girls are excited about Quinnie's first Easter Egg Hunt.

Summer Time at Home is Awesome!

Being at home in the Summer time with both girls is a blast! We have had so much fun swimming, playing outside, visiting with friends and family, and watching Quinn grow like a weed! It's such a blessing to have happy and healthy children. Adelyn has the biggest and kindest heart of anyone I know! She can't stop loving her sister and thinks of ways to help those in need. She started a lemonade stand for Arkansas Children's Hospital and wants to Donate stuffed animals to kids who need them. My heart skips a beat when she comes up with these generous ideas! Quinn is growing like a weed and sleeps and eats so well! She is happy, healthy, and strong and we are blessed. Daddy is busy with work and loves to cook us dinner. He has become this "born again chef". We love it! I get to hopefully go swimming and play tennis next week after my Dr's appointment. More to come...

Quinn Elizabeth Is Here!

It's been a while, I know! Been pretty busy this 2011 preparing for Quinn Elizabeth, who was born on May 19th 2011. 9.2 lbs. and 20 3/4 inches long. She is the best baby and Big Sister Adelyn is still in awe every day! I am looking forward to staying home with both of my munchkins this summer! We also are preparing for Adelyn's dance recital this Saturday! I hope to do a better job updating this blog! Cheers!

My Oh My, How Time Does Fly! Totally have forgotten to update this blog! The Fall was exciting with Adelyn dressing up as Little Miss Riding Hood, Mommy playing tennis, and Daddy hunted for deer... then Christmas came with my Dad and Nanny in town and Santa was good to us all! Our favorite traditions are our Happy Birthday Jesus Cake and of course Christmas Eve Service at Central United Methodist. Adelyn's favorite presents were her guitar, Pinkalicious books, pillow pals, and Easy Bake Oven! I am going to try so hard to upload a video of her advertising her Easy Bake Oven.
And the most exciting 2011 news is that we are expecting another little Princess Quinn Elizabeth around Mid May.... we are soo excited getting the nursery ready and Adelyn is always ready for a baby project to work on!
Adelyn is loving her Montessori School and is a social bug, not sure where she gets this from:) She loves Dance and Gymnastics and Always has a reason to have a Dance Party at home! More to come Friends!

Live, Love, and Dance

During our Memorial Day Weekend we went to a beautiful wedding in Hot Springs and then came back to gear up for our hectic week!
On Tuesday June 1st, we headed out after work with Adelyn to catch the free WMT Shareholder's Concert here in Fayetteville at Budd Walton Arena. Zac Brown Band or as Adelyn likes to call them, Chicken Fry, played. She was in awe and was singing each of the songs word for word. It was so fun to take her to her first concert. I am sure when she is 13, she won't think it's very cool to be there with her parents...
Then Saturday was the BIG DAY. Adelyn's First Dance Recital! Can you tell that I am still a little excited? Adelyn performed her Ballet number first and had so much joy in her face twirling and even singing her princess dance. Then for her tap routine, she shook her hips to "All the Single Ladies" and of course sung her little heart out while she tried to punch it like Beyonce. By the way, this was the Chippettes version not Beyonce... ha ha! We were all so proud and she was so excited to get flowers and candy afterwards.... Phew! Now that Dance and gymnastics are over, I can focus on my tennis skills this summer!

Primped and Ready to Go!

Wow! I have a lot of catching up to do on this blog! So Memorial Day and June have been little "Crazy"! The week before Memorial Day Weekend, Adelyn had her dance pictures taken. We primped and curled our hair over at our Best Friend Brooklyn's house where Aunt Mer was our stylist. No, this is not a preview episode of Toddlers and Tiaras... I can't even imagine how those little girls can tolerate wearing all that makeup and hair pieces... yikes! Then the girls took pics outside and then off to the studio for a dress rehearsal. It was fun and I have to say they were very good sports! Of course, when Fancy Nancy is your hero... of course they would be patient when getting all primped!

A lot has been going on in our household lately during the Month of May. The week days of warm weather tease us every time with our weekends followed by rain, rain, and more rain... But of course, we find a way to entertain ourselves with Broadway Dance Parties and Glee Tryout Marathons! Adelyn never once requests to watch TV! She loves playing dress up and being a princess (Which means she calls me Queen, so I don't mind :). The kiddo is so geared up for her Dance Recital June 5th, she can not wait!

On Mother's Day, Adelyn and I planned a tea party with Mimi, T-ma, and Aunt Mer. We had a blast dancing to "Honey Honey" and wearing all of my old dance costumes! Check out our glamour shots! Never a dull moment in the Bramlett household!
